2026 Chile Backcountry Snowmobiling Experience

After an unforgettable 2025 season, we’re heading back to Chile for Summer 2026 — bigger, better, and more dialed than ever. Last year we explored untouched terrain, rode deep volcanic bowls, soaked in hot spring rivers, and enjoyed world-class food. This trip is a bucket-list experience for any snowmobiler, and 2026 is set to raise the bar again.

Ride some of the most unique Andean terrain in the Southern Hemisphere, push your limits in deep powder, and enjoy the best cultural and culinary experiences Chile has to offer.

This all-inclusive premium experience delivers pro-level guiding, top-tier lodging, and the newest Ski-Doo GEN 5 sleds all set in the dramatic landscapes of Las Trancas and Icalma.

• 7 nights lodging (double or triple rooms) at Rocanegra Lodge & Nevados de Icalma

Itinerary Overview

Day 0 — Arrival

• Arrive in Chile (SCL), then connect to Temuco (ZCO) or Concepción (CCP) depending on your assigned group.

• International flights usually arrive early, with ~2 hours before your connection.

• Escoriales Backcountry will pick you up at your destination airport.

• Both ZCO and CCP are approximately a 2-hour shuttle to the lodge — a long travel day, but absolutely worth it.

• Settle in, rest up, and enjoy dinner with a briefing for Day 1.

Day 1 — Ride Day

• Breakfast at 8 AM

• Morning debrief, sled setup, and departure

• Full riding day

• Dinner at the lodge featuring high-end Chilean cuisine

Day 2 — Ride Day

• Another epic full riding day

Day 3 or 4 — Ride or Transfer Day

• Your schedule depends on which airport your group arrived at:

  • CCP arrivals: Day 3 is the transfer/rest day

  • ZCO arrivals: Day 3 is an additional riding day

• Transfer/rest day includes a scenic shuttle between Las Trancas and Icalma.

Day 5 — Ride Day

• Another full day in a new zone

Day 6 — Ride Day

• Your final day of riding — go big!

Day 7 — Departure

• Shuttle to airport

• Safe travels home
